If self adhesive reflective tape then maybe I would not or be very careful with a tepid wash without too much agitation. I don’t know if other people know the answer? **Q: Will this damage the bikes paint work if I remove it?** A: I've done it before on some old bikes and it doesn't seem to strip off any of the bike's paint. I recommend heating the tape before removal though using a hair dryer. **Q: Can I make it into letters? Can I peel it off walls?** A: It is definitely possible to cut our tape into letters. It's got a bit of "give" in it so it conforms well around a complicated shape like a bike frame or helmet. I don't think it would stick to fabric as I saw in some comments - you'd want the iron-on stuff for that - but it's good for a hard surface. I was somewhat dubious about the adhesion of a tape but felt it was worth a try. And so far this tape has exceeded my expectations. I don't know if it will last the test of time and a Cocker Spaniel's love of immersing himself in just about anything liquid but so far so good.And anyway there's so much excess tape, should it come off (and I seriously doubt it will) there's plenty more on hand to replace it.Best of all, the reflective characteristics of this tape are excellent.
