The pink is a nice deep colour and I like the turquoise. the green is quite light so can be harder to read. I love these pens - they write nicely and I use for uni and work. **Q: Having seen the previous FAQs can you please tell me why these pens are being advertised like they are boxes of individual colours, all pink, etc????** A: The picture above shows all purple pens in a box and only one colour. When I bought mine, the box had four colours marked on it-pink,purple,green and light blue. I hope this helps your qquestion. **Q: Why don't they work?** A: Mine worked fine. Have you taken the little plastic bit off the nib? **Q: Description clearly states 20 pens in this colour (purple). Can you either reassure me that I would receive 20 purple pens as stated** A: I can fully reassure you that each pack contains 20 pens if bought via us. I of course cannot answer for the other sellers and you would need to contact them directly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fab colours *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 May 2016* This pack of BIC Cristal Fun Ball pens arrives from Amazon in one of their brown cardboard packages. I chose the set of ten for £3 rather than the set of four for £2.99 as it seemed a no-brainer value wise. There is an option for twenty pens for just under £5 and these are available on the Amazon Subscribe and Save programme so you can get them delivered every month (or whichever frequency you choose) at a discount. The pens are in unusual and bright colours rather than the normal black, blue, red and green. In the ten pack set you receive three pink, three baby blue, two purple and two green. They are very similar to any other BIC ball point pens in shape and size but obviously the ink is different. The lids and the end of the pens are colour matched to indicate the shade. The ten pack contains the pens in a plastic wrapper and the twenty pack is boxed. How do they work? Well. To start I was a little confused as I could not get them to work. I tried the usual tricks of doing ticks and squiggles and still no luck. Believing that the chances of all ten being duds, I persevered and noticed there was a blob of something on the end of each ball point. I removed this blob and the pen works. All have this blob so I presume it is to prevent the ink from drying? There is no reference to this on the packaging. Now I am up and running – or writing – with the pens, I love them. They are fun and bright and don’t seem to smudge or anything. I love them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Remove the little waxy blob from the nib :) *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 May 2025* This is the second pack I ordered and had not initially realised the nib is covered with a little waxy blob to stop the ink drying out - so you need to remove the little waxy blob then the ink flows smooth and bright.I love Bic pens, they are great quality, last ages and you can write comfortably for hours - but now in these gorgeous colours I love Bic pens even more :)I would highly recommend them - they are fab pens that don't let you down and don't smudge - great stuff! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun pen set lovely colours. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 October 2024* I love these pens- it’s good for writing titles and doodling and anything you want to make stand out. I don’t think it’s adequate for writing things eg essay or anything as the nib is quite big. The colours are so pretty. The pink stands out the most I would say. I would purchase again. But I am happy with this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bic Cristal Fun Ballpoint Pens with 5 Assorted Ink Colours, Wide Point (1.6 mm), Pack of 10 - BIC Cristal Xtra Bold Ballpoint Pens, Bold Point (1.6mm) For Vivid And Dramatic Lines, Assorted Colors, 24-Count Pack - BIC Usa Inc BICMSBAP81 19627 Cristal Xtra Bold Pack Of 8 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48080009-bic-cristal-fun-ballpoint-pens-wide-point-1-6-mm](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48080009-bic-cristal-fun-ballpoint-pens-wide-point-1-6-mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
