Review: Simple, easy to use, holds phone securely - Really impressed with this phone holder. The design is very simple but all the better for it. It holds my Motorola G7 Power (in a silicone case) securely and grips the dashboard of my Hyundai i10 firmly, it hasn’t moved a mm so far. The device itself is well made and feels like it will be durable. Assembly and installation couldn’t be easier. It arrives as flat mat with two sets of upright pegs to choose from. Simply pick the pegs that best fit your device and attach them to the mat by pushing the small nubs on the base of the pegs through the holes in the mat. I had read a couple of reviews that stated that this assembly process was tricky but I found it to be very easy. Just stretch the mat a little to elongate the holes and job done. Once in places the pegs appear to be very secure. With the holder now assembled, installing it in the car is a doddle. In fact, “installing” is really too grand a word for the process. Simply pick a suitable spot and places the mat on it. That’s it. The flexible base easily moulds itself to slight undulations from air vents and similar. Once in place the holder looks unobtrusive and doesn't interfere with the drivers line of vision. To be honest it just looks like a part of the dashboard but if it did bother you when not in use you can just pick it up and chuck it somewhere out of sight. Another advantage of it not being fixed in place is that you can just move it between all the cars in your household or even use it in the house to hold a tablet or whatever. Maybe even a book! Very pleased with my purchase, easily the best solution for mounting a phone in the car that I’ve found so far and at less than a tenner I think it’s a bit of a bargain. My car is basic so I use the phone for playing music and navigation and having it mounted centrally in clear view and knowing that it won’t move is just really useful.

**Q: Would this be suitable to hold an iPhone 6 and would the phone sit at a suitable angle for recording the journey on the phone camera.**
A: The holder will happily hold an iPhone 6 for hands free calling and navigational use. 
With regards to holding it for the purpose of recording your journey, it may do with the supports in the most upright angle. However, it was not deigned for this purpose and you may find the camera shake will reduce the video quality.

**Q: Is this safe to use with a Z fold 2**
A: The Z Fold 2 has not been tested by us at this time. The phone holder was designed to be universal but this type of folded phone was not considered during design. Folded open it would fit the supports with the Z fold 2 being 6.9mm in thickness. Folded it would be too thick for the supports at 16.8mm.

**Q: I have a jeep cherokee 2015 can I use this?**
A: Thank you for you question - It is designed to be universal so will fit all models and makes of vehicles.

**Q: would it be possible to trim the width down?**
A: You could trim off about half an inch from each end but why? it would spoil the look of the pad, it is designed to fit onto the dash of the car and there should be plenty of room on a car dash.

Really impressed with this phone holder. The design is very simple but all the better for it. This is the third phone holder I've tried in my car and it's the better one. Doesn't slip or move at all.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple yet effective...

It actually works remarkably well!... Sits sturdy on the dashboard, doesn't move at all - despite driving in most of the time hectic Athenian traffic. The shape of the rubber adapted easily to the various dashboard shapes of a number of cars it was used in. After purchasing quite of number of holders in the past, this is by far the most simple and effective. The only 'negative' points are the price (a bit expensive for what you get) and the fact that it can't be properly used in portrait mode; just landscape. Hence 4 stars.
