Would be helpful if all tapes gave the size tape machine they fit!! Thanks** A: The core measurement for the 19mm x 66m roll is 75mm not 2.5cm as stated, that is for the smaller capacity rolls. **Q: Is there an easy way to start the role off?** A: Once you have found where the role starts keep a penny under it once you have finished with it or like me buy a machine from Amazon that you slot the role in and holds it all in place. **Q: Will this work with lino** A: Not really suited for that, it would peel back off plastic based produts. It is great for paper, card, crafts etc, but not for heavy duty applications. Search for a good duct tape. **Q: what tape Dispenser would this tape fit** A: 26,523.5 dispensers at last count, knocked off 1/2 a point as it broke last one in half, so only half fitted. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable, Clear, and a Household Essential – Great Value Pack! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 April 2025* You wouldn’t think a roll of tape could be review-worthy… but after going through multiple cheap brands that either tear poorly, leave sticky residue, or simply don’t stick at all, I’ve come to really appreciate Scotch 508 Transparent Tape. This 8-roll pack has been a fantastic addition to our home supply cupboard.🏠 Where I Use It:📚 School Projects: My kids use it regularly for school crafts, and it never lets us down. It tears cleanly, sticks well, and doesn’t wrinkle like cheaper tapes tend to.🎁 Gift Wrapping: It’s just transparent enough to disappear neatly on wrapping paper, which is great for keeping gifts tidy and professional-looking.🖇️ General Home and Office Use: From quick paper repairs and sealing envelopes to sticking notes on the fridge, it gets the job done smoothly every time.✅ What I Love About It:Crystal Clear Finish:Once applied, it's barely noticeable. No milky or foggy finish, which makes it ideal for wrapping and clean presentations.Reliable Adhesion:It sticks well to paper, card, and light plastic without peeling off, curling at the corners, or losing grip after a day or two and perfect thickness.Easy to Cut and Handle:Works beautifully with my tape dispenser but also easy to tear by hand in a pinch. No frustrating jagged edges or splits.8 Rolls Last Ages:Each roll is 33 metres long, and the 8-pack means I don’t have to worry about running out any time soon. One pack has lasted me several months with regular use.📝 Small Consideration:Packaging may vary as the listing says, but that’s just cosmetic. The quality inside is consistently great.🛍️ Final Verdict:This is one of those humble household items that you don’t fully appreciate until you try a bad version. Scotch has nailed it with the 508 tape—it’s dependable, clean, and high-quality for everyday needs.Whether you're a parent, student, crafter, or just need a trusty roll of tape in the drawer, this is the one to get.Highly recommended — a practical essential done right. 🧻✂️📦 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tape *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 September 2026* Great tape at a great price, good for present wrapping, DIY and alsorts, easy to use and very versatile, exactly as it claims to be ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Genuine Scotch brand not cheap alternative *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 April 2026* Satisfactory ## Frequently Bought Together - Scotch 5081933 Transparent Tape General Purpose Clear Tape for School, Home and Office508-8 Rolls - 19 mm x 33 m (Packaging may differ) - Merrimen Strong Heavy Duty Clear Packaging Tape - 3 Rolls (48MM x 66M) - Secure Sticky Sealing Tape for Parcel Boxes, Moving Boxes & Large Postal Bags - Ideal for Long Term Storage - 6 Rolls - Cellotape Rolls Strong Clear Packing Tape Extra Long 24mm | Packaging Sellotape Transparent Stationary Gift Wrap Tape Refill 24mm x 40m --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48025566-scotch-508-transparent-tape-8-rolls-19-mm-x-33](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48025566-scotch-508-transparent-tape-8-rolls-19-mm-x-33) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
