You need a face wash to remove it it will fade over 4 hours so needs set with a powder but even mac foundation only lasts 3 hours before I need to retouch for shine control so this is fine. Very impressed I have bad red scars and I pick at my skin from anxiety so this covers even raw seeping spots I've made a right mess of up and it calms my skin. I wore it without powder on a hot day and I looked waxy and a mess but that was my fault for not settling and not completing my make up so I didn't look just white I should have done the eyes etc to look less like I had a mask on! It is perfect for covering red or purple scars I now know what Hollywood stars use when they cover tattoos after breakups etc. This is well worth the price.
