I think I rang up to see if it was available in purple and was informed yes- but only in the USA. Here, in the UK, the only color available is black. Delivery I think was very quick. My daughter has been using it for a few months now and is very happy with it. Thanks** A: Hi CraigI have no need for this facility so its difficult to comment; my main criticism is to do with very basic operation. There is a usb connector, so it may be possible to interface with a computor keyboard; best check with Texas. The TI-84 plus does have an Alpha lock key so inputing text will probably be similar speed to a mobile phone, but as I noted previously, the screen will not wrap the text, so everything inputs onto one line, which forces you to use scroll keys to check the input; this is really quite slow. I think you would find this frustrating if inputing programmes.To see 3 or 4 lines of input on the screen allows quick secondary checks and is really quite useful, whether you are working in a design office or studying at university.
