In order to transfer (or save) your pictures (or whatever) you must install and/or remove the Memory Card from whatever device you want them off of. Then attach the Memory Card to your PC (either by inserting it or using an adapter) and then transfer the files over... I SERIOUSLY SUGGEST that you take part in a BEGINNERS COMPUTER COURSE wherever it is offered ,or even find a young kid that is tech savvy and offer to pay him to show you the tricks. **Q: How do I attach the lanyard. Holes in bottom look like the place, but no access** A: Hi there, To do this you'll need a needle nosed tweezer. 1st roll the end of the loop between your fingers till it comes to the shape of a point. Then insert the point (the string) into the opening and use the tweezers to pull the string out the other end up to the stop. Then take the other end and loop it thru the thinner end and pull the fuller end all the way through. Then just tighten up by pulling on the fuller end until it forms a loop around the opening and you're done... Just to let you know, I liked this (particular) product so much that I bought a second one within a day after I bought the first one... It's well made and stands up to ANY abuse that I throw at it. One warning though... Budi makes another adapter that is VERY SIMILAR to this one, only narrower in shape... It has a very short USB Cable Connector as well as a Micro SD Card slots (and a Reader Slot). I bought one of these and when I tried to open it up, either the USB Cable or one of the adapters inside shifted and jammed the unit preventing it fro opening all the way... I tried repeatedly to opening by FORCING (and I do mean F-O-R-C-I-N-G) it open to no avail. I even went so far as to contact Budi and notifying them of the problem I was having and asking for a refund... I even went so far as to describe the design flaw on this particular product and to let them know that if they had used the SAME CONTAINER size as the one that holds all the Memory Cards (like this one), that they probably wouldn't have this same problem and it would also allow them to include other features inside as well as preventing it from opening... The people at Budi asked me if I wanted them to send a replacement to me and I said YES... This is where the fun started... Supposedly they sent a replacement but I never got it, and again I contacted them asking WHERE the replacement was and they kept telling me to wait one more week... They did this week after week and so on... I finally got tired of the run around I was getting and went to my bank and disputed the charge to my Credit Card... I also notified my Credit Card Company of the problem I was having. Now I'm still waiting to hear back from both my Bank and the Credit Card Company to hear the results will be... Honestly I have no fear that they will rule against me as I have ALL the E-Mails between myself and Budi for proof... Now just to let you know, I have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with the Budi product that you are asking about... I LOVE IT... It (BOTH OF THEM) works perfectly and without ANY problems... It's their OTHER product that I'm warning you about to look out for that I have a problem with... Definitely my go to right now though and I would recommend buying it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid option for storing a bunch of SD or microSD cards *by M***E on November 2, 2023* This is the sort of thing that you can pretty much look at the listing and know exactly what you're getting, and thus also the sort of thing that I wouldn't normally bother leaving a review for because my review would just be "does what it says on the tin, five stars"... *if* it didn't have one glaring issue. But, well, it does... It is virtually impossible to prevent it from producing *some* amount of high-pitched squealing or screeching every time you slide the card holder out, similar to the sound produced by rubbing two pieces of styrofoam against each other. (If you don't find this sound viscerally unpleasant, I envy you.) This is because both the inner card holder piece and the inner liner of the body that it slides in are made of plastic (presumably the same plastic since the description mentions only the one type, although the card holder has a matte finish while the inner liner is glossy). On top of this, the slide mechanism consists of small channels in the inner liner that mate with small ridges on the faces of the card holder piece, with no additional stabilization of the card holder--no rails down the sides or anything of the sort. This means that the card holder piece moves pretty freely when you slide it in or out, and can bind against the inner plastic liner--never so much that it gets stuck completely, but enough that the friction creates the rubbing-styrofoam-together squealing sound. This is why I bothered to write a review, and why I rated it only four stars. Insofar as I have any other complaints they're basically ones I saw from other reviewers: - SD card slots are a little loose and microSD card slots are a little tight, so it's almost too easy to remove SD cards and slightly harder than it needs to be to remove microSD cards—I find that I have to remove them by pushing from the “front” of the card, that is, the smaller end that gets inserted into a device, rather than pulling on the wider back part where there's the ridge for grip/leverage. But this is a minor inconvenience at worst. - The wrist strap channel is engineered in such a way that it's very difficult to actually insert the strap.
