I have now tried throwing water at it with inks and paints and watercolour distress markers, ive used dylusions paints and many types of acrylic paint, both high viscosity and thinner runny acrylics. I’m no professional artist but I’ve been using it for watercolour painting, coloured pencil art and graphite pencil sketches and it hasn’t let me down yet. The paper does buckle a bit when using watercolours but goes back into shape mostly when dry (my smaller pieces always end up a wee bit curved if they’ve been excessively soaked). It’s not artist quality, clearly but it gives you a lot of paper to work on and if you do what I do - cut the paper up into smaller pieces - then it can really last you well. I’ve supplied a few pictures of mine as an example to how the art comes out in it even for a beginner. I’d definitely buy again but I’ve still got quite a bit left so it’ll be a wee while yet.
