I expect another 10-15 years out of it at least. I have tweaked my methods to whip lather, but over the years I have deduced the most luxurious method below. A caveat, it takes a bit of time. Boil water in your kettle. Place your brush downward facing into a deepish bowl or mug. Fill the bowl or mug with the brush in it with the boiling water until the water sits above the brush (not the handle). Give it 20-30 seconds, then tip out the water from the bowl. Careful - this is boiling water remember. Give the brush a quick flick but make sure you retain most of the water on the brush. Add shaving cream to the bottom of the moist bow/mug. Using the brush, go into circular motions into the bowl/mug and whip out some lather for about 15-30 seconds. Then apply it to your face and will feel this amazingly warm and soft cream exfoliate your skin and provide protection. Without a doubt, the best part of the shave. You feel in heaven. You can repeat this warm lathering another time if you want. Overall, a fantastic product that makes shaving great.
