Product Description Developed and created by Francisca Gamero, who noticed that her daughter’s ears were starting to stick out at 4 months of age, Otostick Baby was perfected for years until it evolved into this unique, internationally patented device. Otostick Baby is an aesthetic corrector for protruding ears, manufactured from silicone and medical adhesives. It adheres to the ear and the adjacent part of the head, providing an optimal position for the ear and, specifically, the cartilage, thus permitting both to develop properly. The continuous, constant use of OtostickBaby works as a preventive method in the first few months of a baby’s life, preventing the cartilage from bending and assuming an improper position due to the baby’s movements or sleeping postures, and as a permanent corrective method when the baby’s or child’s ears (between the ages of 3 months and 6 years) are already very separated from the head, reducing this separation with the constant, continued use of the corrective device. Characteristics of the Otostick Effective A study carried out on the permanent correction of Otostick Baby showed an effectiveness rate of more than 90%. How to put on the Otostick Step 1 | Putting on the Otostick Clean the area carefully with an astringent (100% oil free), eliminating any dirt or moisture. Step 2 | Putting on the Otostick Determine the exact point before removing the protective paper, taking into account the shape and folds of the ear. Depending on the shape of each ear, the corrective device must be positioned at the proper level in order to boost the permanent corrective effect by correctively positioning the cartilage. Step 3 | Putting on the Otostick Remove the protective paper from the adhesive on the part stuck to the ear, be careful not to touch the adhesive with your fingers. Step 4 | Putting on the Otostick Once stuck to the ear, remove the protective paper from the head portion and attach the corrective device to it, making sure that there is no hair underneath it. Finally, gently apply pressure to the corrective device, folding the cartilage as necessary and making sure that all the edges are correctly attached. Recommendations -It is recommended to apply it while the baby is asleep, to prevent any movement from bending the corrective device before you put it on. - We recommend using the Otostick cap for babies younger than 3 years of age, due to the small size of the Otostick Baby when the child is not under constant supervision of an adult or when sleeping, if their neck is still not strong enough, to prevent dragging the head when moving and tearing or partially removing the corrective device. - During the next 4 hours after putting it on, it is recommended not to get the corrective device wet and to keep the baby cool to prevent excessive sweating. During these 4 hours, the adhesive will acquire maximum resistance, necessary for its compatibility with water and sweat in the following hours and days of use. Removal -To remove the corrective device, first lift the edge and use a cotton swab soaked in body oil, applying it gently around the edge and leaving it on for a minute. Once the oil between the skin and the corrective device, gently insert the cotton swab and it will come off simply and easily. -Once the corrective device has been removed, remember to moisturize the area and let it rest for 12-24 hours before applying another corrective device, once again making sure not to leave behind any grease generated during the resting period. Miscellaneous - Even though the adult or child is over 3 years of age, if the ear characteristics are better suited to the Otostick Baby corrective device, you can still use it regardless of being over 3 years of age. - The permanent corrective effect of Otostick Baby obtained through the constant and continuous use has been obtained in babies and children between 3 months and 6 years of age. - The most commonly used astringent product by our users is 70º alcohol. Once you have properly cleaned the skin, wait until the skin is totally dry before applying the corrective device. Once applied, any remaining moisture will reduce or eliminate the effectiveness of the adhesives. - Depending on the shape of each ear, the Otostick Baby must be positioned at the proper level in order to boost the permanent corrective effect by correctively positioning the cartilage. -They can be used temporarily and on a continuous basis.

We 100% put these on correctly, however clearly these are a rubbish product otherwise I wouldn’t have had these issues. **Q: Do I have to buy a glue to stick them?**
A: It has everything in the pack (sticky back) it’s abit fiddly and it was okay to use but in the end I gave up.

**Q: Can the cap be worn at night?**
A: Hi, yes the cap should be worn at night or whenever baby is not being closely watched. The cap will not affect the performance of the Otostick, it is just to prevent baby accidentally pulling at the ears which could cause the Otosticks to break. Because the Otostick Baby product is so small, it could present a possible choke hazard to a small child, so the cap is there to minimise any risk of the corrector being accidentally removed.  If you prefer, a headband or alternative cap can be used, as long as you are sure that baby can't pull at the ears when they are alone.

**Q: Can the cap be worn at night?**
A: yes, all the time , it is very comfortable ...

**Q: Can I get a replacement hat?**

The adhesive stick on these are non existent. We put two on our baby and within hours they had become unstuck. Put a new pair on and the same again! We made sure the area had been cleaned and dried as per the instructions and we were very careful applying it and making sure we didn’t touch the adhesive while it was put on. We 100% put these on correctly, however clearly these are a rubbish product otherwise I wouldn’t have had these issues. Not only do they not even work but they have cost me a lot of money just to find that out! DO NOT BUY!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far, pretty effective!

Currently on day 2 of trial, so far, so good. It's a clever product, 2 flat suckers with a little bridge between them, thin silicone and fairly invisible once stuck down behind baby's ears. I can see that it's already effective, my baby is no longer sleeping on folded ears. She is 3 months old, so ear cartilage is pretty soft at the moment, and she doesn't know how to take the stickers off. To be fair, they are fairly sturdy, I messed up the first one and it took a cotton bud, bio oil and lots of love to remove it. Her ear was totally fine, not red afterwards. I can imagine if an older baby tried to tear it off, the result would be a little worse. I didn't use the little mesh hat that came with the product, I put it over her head and the bit that was supposed to go under the chin seemed a little bit too tight. All in all, this is a great product. I will update when I see full results in the coming weeks.
