What shape do you want to cut it to? We would tend to use a flatbed router cnc machine to cut this with a clearcut router bit that gives a polished look, not high polish though but a nice edge, usually edges are covered in a window frame etc so edge finish isn't usually an issue. I used this product to build a magic mirror and the results was better than I had hoped for. **Q: This might be a stupid question, but does it matter which way round you install this mirror?** A: Yes it does, one side is coated and is normally on the inside of where you are using it to protect it, the other side is just the acrylic, one way to tell which is which is that the coated side due to how delicate it is the protective film is barely hanging on, you can pretty much blow it off, bit of a pain when sawing or cnc cutting it, or storing it because if stored standing up the protective film can just fall off under gravity, the face of the product is just protective film onto clear acrylic which is stuck on much better, there is an obvious difference between the 2 and I would use that on the side you use to protect the product.
