Once complete, oil drained and the waste oil was disgusting and had a petrol odour to it, very very dark too, so obviously a lot of deposits and carbon had been removed. Engine filled with LiquiMoly SpecialTec 5W20, designed for Ecoboost engines, new filter and left to run to temperature, engine noises and roughness has disappeared. Only time will tell if any long term benefits will appear but immediately, the engine sounds and runs much happier.
