It hold my motorcycle upright and in place which is great for storing, cleaning, etc. It is heavy duty and keep my bike stable. It is adjustable to fit 17” (which my bike has) to 21” wheels. It does take a little force to move the motorcycle in and out of the chock as you have to push it over the pivoting cradle when moving it in and out of it. I was concerned that the chock would slide forward when pushing the bike into it but it stayed in place. I also used this chock on a trailer when transporting my Harley Davidson Road Glide. I just screwed the chock to the wooden floor of the trailer. It kept the front wheel in place when using tie downs. It does require simple assembly. This works great for me and would recommend this wheel chock. I was concerned about it hitting the fender skirt which other reviewers had a problem with, but it cleared it fine and really holds the bike securely while I tie it down. I also went to the hardware store and bought (4) 3/8-16 threaded Tee Nuts (see picture) to bolt the chock down so I can quickly and easily unbolt it when I use the trailer for hauling other stuff. I read a couple reviews that said the included assembly hardware was substandard, even a couple said the bolts were hollow. It would not fit your 12" wheel properly, or a ZX10. I had to modify the one I bought heavily to work properly with my front wheel 120/70-17 for my ZX14R. I would recommend the Trackside Wheel Chock, I use it in my trailer,,, and it is great,, but more expensive. You get what you pay for ! **Q: Will this work with a 2010 Victory Kingpin with the lower sweeping fender?** A: I have an Ultra classic and I had to remove the pivot piece and cinch my steer wheel in the remaining stand because it would've bent my fender. My guess is no. **Q: I lost bolts, what size carriage screws would attach this to a carry on trailer? mesh base, with wood on top.** A: i used 1/2in dia bolts through the floor and through the frame. drilled it out to 1/2in. you can use 7/16 instead. not carriage bolts. came w metric bolts. do not bolt to just the mesh floor without a backing plate or through the frame of the trailer. **Q: Is this good for a trailer. And will it fit a 2005 vstar 1100 classic?** A: Yes it works great on a trailer and and yes it will fit your bike nicely. My trailer (Triton AUT1064) has channels in the bed to use carriage bolts to secure cargo. Unfortunately the angle iron on the chock was not wide enough (needed to be 48") for the channels so I bolted a longer piece of angle iron to it and drilled holes to fit the channels. It holds my 2007 V-Star 1100 Classic well while I attach ratchet straps to secure the bike for towing. Backing the bike out of the chock is no problem. Prompt shipping! My initial reaction after assembly and fitting to my HD Ultra Limited is: Well built. Easy assembly. I've not mounted on trailer and used it, more to come. Predict it will be fine. Suggestion: Use carriage bolts so you have rounded heads of the bolts inside the assembly.
