I wanted to hook up a PS5 and Series X to one hdmi 2.1 port on my Samsung TV. I had some initial problems as the PS5 was saying no VRR etc. This was resolved by unplugging the PS5 HDMI and plugging it back in to the switcher. Holding down the switcher button for a couple of seconds makes the green light flash and puts it in auto switch mode. It switches between the Xbox and PS5 automatically without any trouble. It adds maybe a 2 second delay to the device being ready if it has to switch. I've used it for about 50 hours now. In that time I've had 2 problems. Once it switched on it's own for no reason and once I lost sound. Both issues quickly fixed by switching manually.
