I put in cork flooring and painted the walls a soft sage green. I ordered the 3x3 as a chair mat. I was going to order the gray/ light blue multi, but switched to the pink multi at the last minute and thought it would add a nice pop of color. It did not disappoint. It arrived yesterday and sat in 100° on my doorstep. Even so, the dye smell was not overpowering and is barely noticeable sitting on it 14 hours later. My dog rolled on it immediately and it vacuumed easily. I rolled it the opposite direction for a minute and it hasn't taken long to lie flat. My chair rolls on it easily. I may get a carpet pad but it may not be necessary due to the weight of the chair. The rug is bound on all four sides and is just barely shy of 3' square. The pictures on my monitor didn't give true representation of the vivid colors. Other than the pink edge, pink is not a dominant color. You could conceivably bring out many colors: navy, light blue, gray, hunter green,pale green, olive, burgandy, red, magenta, orange, yellow, tan, brown,gray. It is well made with no loose threads or yarn. It reminds me of looking closely at a Monet painting. Needless to say, I am pleased with my purchase and definitely the price.
