If you’re expecting miracles from one or two blankets, you’ll be disappointed. These work well, but only when layered up. I ended up using four of them like a maniac, and it made a noticeable difference in muting the road noise outside my window. Each blanket is about 14 pounds, so with four, you’re hanging 56 pounds total. Definitely make sure your rod setup can handle that.
