A: No, the Platypus Hydration System Drink Tube Insulator doesn't come with the drink tube or bite valve.  It will work with the drink tube that comes with the Platy Hydration reservoirs, or the Platy Hydration Kit drink tube and bite valve.  - The Platypus Customer Service Team

**Q: Would you expect this to fit over a foam tube-insulator w/ a diameter of about 0.75 inches?**
A: Hi Dave - The insulator is designed so that the drink tube of our Big Zip Evo reservoirs, which are 5/16" diameter, will fit.  We don't use 3/4" tubing so we can't guarantee that it would fit.   - The Platypus Customer Service Team

**Q: I dont understand what the zipper pouch is for. It is very awkward and the tube doesnt sit seamlessly into the pouch. What am I missing?**
A: Hi - The pouch on the end of the drink tube insulator is to cover the bite valve, and it's designed to fit a range of different bite valve styles so it will not be an exact fit to any particular bite valve. The bite valve needs to be covered, or else it will freeze, and then the water in the tube will start to freeze, too.  I hope this helps out.   - The Therm-A-Rest Customer Service Team
