Review: A great shoe at a great value - These shoes fit well and tighten up easily with the Velcro strap. I ordered a 12.5 size and the fit was true. I have a relatively narrow foot and they fit just right, so these might not work for wider feet. The shoes are very comfortable. The construction is rock solid with sturdy uppers and a hard plastic sole. I use spd clippers petals and the cleats on either side of spd attachment make walking soundless and easy. The hard plastic sole makes the shoe inflexible and really easy to lock in and out of the pedals. These shoes are an outstanding value. They are half the price most other MTB shoes and are a great value for the money.

I got these after trying a pair of 5/10s for flat pedals. These Shimanos feel lots better than the 5/10s and are so good for walking I usually do post-ride cooldown walk in them. They go on easily and the men’s 8.5 - 9 size fit my EU size 42.5 -43 feet just right. The Velcro strap closure works well, though I’m used to ratcheted straps. The build quality is as good as higher-priced shoes I’ve used. The pair I received din not include a set of SPD cleats — no problem I;m off SPDs anyhow. The relatively hard sole is a little slick in wet weather; and the SPD holes are NOT sealed for wet riding. Great feeling shoes. I like their plan (rather than flashy) look. Often keep them on after rides….

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price but strap doesn’t tighten enough

I bought these shoes 2 years ago to use with my indoor bike. The shoes have been remarkably durable and comfortable. I like that I can walk around when wearing them and not worry about scratching the floor. The fit is true to size. My only complaint is that the strap doesn’t tighten enough. As the shoes have stretched out with use, the strap doesn’t tighten quite enough, so they feel a bit loose. I recommend this shoe if you are looking for a good pair of decently priced shoes. I’m not sure how well they would hold up with outdoor cycling, but I have owned Shimano cycling shoes when I used to ride outside and they were great.
