I bought these to trim off the excess. Initially, I tried using these in a cordless drill and they barely scratched the bracket. Once I chucked it into my RotoZip, they worked fantastic. In fact, they worked so well that I had to create a little shield to direct the shavings away from my face. I was working in a tight spot and couldn't change the angle to direct the shavings differently or switch the rotation direction. At any rate, these made short work of the task and I couldn't be happier about my purchase.
