I tried them, they are fairly snug and will stay put if you need them for some normal activity like hair coloring, makeup application, a shower or bath, etc. Of course, these are temporary, disposable covers - they are not meant to last ten days in the shower. They are plastic and not too thin, actually. I expected something even thinner than cling-wrap thin and cheap. The elastic is not tight tight but secure. I really like these and will reorder. Perfect for what I need and serve the exact purpose stated for. Review: Great for covering piercings - I bought these to cover my fresh helix piercings so they don't get shampoo on them or have my hair get caught in them in the shower, and they're great! They were easy to put on and didn't fall off, and protected my piercings. I have small ears and detached earlobes, and I think they don't work for some people because they have attached earlobes. There isn't anything that the plastic can hang on to, so they slide off. Whereas if you have detached earlobes, the curve of the bottom lobe enables the plastic to stay on. Either way, I definitely recommend them! ## Features - Material: the disposable ear covers are made of waterproof PE, easy to wear; Color: clear; Quantity: 100 pieces ear covers, enough for your application in daily life - Function: the ear protector covers serve are practical tools; When showering, washing your hair, or styling your hair, these earplugs are splash-proof but not fully waterproof; They are designed for adults and are not suitable for children - Easy to Use: these hair dye ear covers are disposable, suitable for applying at home, hotels or other places such as hair salons when you are coloring your hair - Proper Size: these ear protector covers are in universal size with an elastic band, you can stretch their size easily, and they are suitable for both adult men and women, unstretched dimensions, outer ring diameter 3.15 inch/ 8mm, inner ring elastic belt size 1.57 inch/ 4mm - Good Choice: these disposable ear protectors are packed in a bag, and they very are lightweight; A good choice for you to put them in your bag when you go out for work or travel ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B072R2V327 | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #23,832 in Beauty & Personal Care ( See Top 100 in Beauty & Personal Care ) #350 in Bathing Accessories | | Brand | Outus | | Brand Name | Outus | | Color | Clear | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 8,863 Reviews | | Inner Material | PE | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 5.98 x 0.47 inches | | Item Weight | 4.54 g | | Manufacturer Part Number | Outus-Ear Protectors-01 | | Material | Polyethylene (PE) | | Material Type | Polyethylene (PE) | | Model Number | BD29026 | | Number of Items | 100 | | Number of Pieces | 100 | | Pattern | Solid | | Size | 100 Count (Pack of 1) | | UPC | 710560366958 | | Unit Count | 100 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Outus - **Color:** Clear - **Material:** Polyethylene (PE) - **Pattern:** Solid ## Images ![Outus 100 Pack Clear Disposable Ear Covers Waterproof for Shower Hair Dye - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71NF8gK877L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Number of Items** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this keep the water out during a shower? Recently got a cartilage piercing that I want to keep as dry as possible.** A: I purchased these because I had an infection in my mastoid and needed to keep the ear dry. I did not find these to work as well as I thought they would. The elastic is not as tight as I thought it would be. I found putting cotton in my ear worked better. Again, this is for the condition I had. **Q: Is this available for amazon prime** A: No they didn’t work good at all , I returned them **Q: Is this good for listening to music with AirPods Pro, but you don’t want to get them wet while showering??** A: Don't take a shower with them. **Q: I have an ear infection and need to keep water out of that ear for a week. Will these help?** A: Hi, I think they should help. I fasten them with a little paper tape when I use them. Hope that helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by M***R on August 7, 2026* These are really, really helpful. They are plastic and not too thin, actually. I expected something even thinner than cling-wrap thin and cheap. The elastic is not tight tight but secure. I really like these and will reorder. Perfect for what I need and serve the exact purpose stated for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for covering piercings *by K***E on September 5, 2022* I bought these to cover my fresh helix piercings so they don't get shampoo on them or have my hair get caught in them in the shower, and they're great! ### ⭐ Great Idea, Poor Execution – Did Not Work on Any Client *by M***N on May 30, 2026* I am a professional hairstylist and purchased these hoping they would help keep water out of my clients’ ears during shampoo services. Unfortunately, they were a complete disappointment. My first order was supposed to arrive overnight, but it never showed up. Tracking indicated it was returned, and while I was told I would receive a refund, I never saw one. I decided to give the product another chance and ordered a second set. Once they arrived, I tested them on several clients the same day. Not a single person could keep them securely on their ears. They either slipped off immediately or shifted as soon as water was involved. Even worse, instead of keeping water out, they actually filled up with water, making the problem worse than having no ear covers at all. I really wanted these to work, but they simply did not perform as advertised. As a salon professional, I would not recommend them. Save your money and look for another solution. ## Frequently Bought Together - Outus 100 Pack Clear Disposable Ear Protectors Waterproof Ear Covers for Hair Dye, Shower, Bathing - NeilMed NeilCleanse Piercing Aftercare, Fine Mist, 6.3 Fluid Ounce - Genedy Ear Covers for Shower, Heat and Hair Dye Protection - Pink - Waterproof Ear Covers for Washing Hair - Reusable Silicone Ear Caps For Hair Dye - Ear Protectors From Heat Styling and Dryer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/46160875-outus-100-pack-clear-disposable-ear-covers-waterproof-for-shower](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/46160875-outus-100-pack-clear-disposable-ear-covers-waterproof-for-shower) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
