If you need a big bag then this is for you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a well-designed beach/pool bag, and have the $$$ for it, this IS what you're looking for. *by D***U on May 25, 2017* If you think the glowing reviews are a bit of hype, then you probably will look at this review no differently. However, as a parent of several kids, who've used this bad almost exclusively for all of our trips to the beach and pool last year, I can't recommend this bag with anything less than 5-stars.PROS:Where do I start? First, the material is smartly made of polyethelyne. Why smart? Becuase if you use the bag as designed, you will encounter both salt-water, sand, and sun. This material is sturdy enough to hold several pounds of beach items, but also is smooth enough to not take a lot of sand and water home with you when you're done. Next, functionality--it's got both cubbies, straps, and pockets galore. However, the key notes are the un-zippable bottom (to let water/sand out) that's meshed in. It keeps your shoes/clothes in the bag, but allows for either water/sand to exit, or air to come in and keep things dry. Also, the size is enormous! At 14 x 7 x 15.5, you'll definitely be able to keep a family of 4's beach stuff in it. We have double that, and it still is great for towels, sunscreen, extra clothes, and diapers--yes, you could even use this as a XL diaper bag if you wanted--it's got enough pockets for all the baby items. As far as straps, you can either use the short ones for a hand bag (don't recommend as the bag is HUGE), or the longer shoulder strap. Additional hide-away straps in the bottom of the bag let you sling towels or bulkier items (we usually put a rolled mat) outside the bag--the straps can be cinched, so it keeps whatever on the outside secure to the bag. Finally, it's a sturdy bag that holds shape. Having to juggle many kids, I don't also like having to prop a bag to go through it while I'm holding a toddler or two. This bag stands upright both empty and full, wet or dry--good stuff.CONS:Not many here in my opinion. First, this bag is pricey, but you're really paying for quality. Second, color choices are non-existant--well as far as Amazon's concerned, you have the option of two floral patterns.OVERALL:During the summer, we go to the beach almost every other day, and to the pool on off-days. This bag has seen the test of time and use (we have lots of kids) and is very little worse for wear since it was new. If you have the money to spend on a bag, and are going to use it the way it was designed, then this bag is as close to perfect as we've been able to find.
