The colors in these sets are so blendable that you can easily create a soft glowing Smokey eye by using a light stroke and blend, or a deeper darker look, by putting on a heavier amount of shadow. Just like when you use crayons if you want a light pink, you would color with a white crayon lightly and the a little red crayon to make a light pink or use more white and red to make a deep pink.
