Description is difficult to interpret...** A: When it releases for the blade to be fully opened it can cut up to 1in in diameter so it can cut 1/2in to 1in. I use it daily to cut 1/2in cpvc, 3/4in cpvc, on occasion 1in cpvc. For larger cpvc or pvc I use the larger mcc cutters.
