B) if I can remember correctly the said Meter's minimum clamp mode current 20A. For 240 /415 RMS V circuit you need 5ma from all phases and neutral. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Does almost everything. *by C***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 August 2022* The media could not be loaded.  I have had this just a few days, and already it has been useful in ways that my others meters wouldn't have been. That's because it has the ability to measures voltages and currents without being connected to the circuit (it just occurred to me that this might be able to measure parasitic drain on a car battery, to help identify the source of battery drain without having to disturb any connections). What I have used it for so far is to check that the house mains cables are not live when changing a socket. I already own a little device to do that, but this meter is more reassuring. You just place the point of the clamp near the cable or box, and it will beep rapidly when a voltage is present.The other job involved replacing the car battery that runs the old lawnmower with a tiny LiFEPo alternative. I wanted to check the current drain when the mower was in use. With the clamp around one of the cables, I was able to read the current easily. I accidentally had it on AC initially, and got very low readings. Once the meter was zeroed and set correctly, I was able to see that the mower uses 20-30 amps when driving the roller and cylinder (with a much higher surge initially), which equates to 240 - 360 watts, roughly. The 96 watt/hour lithium battery should therefore run the mower for up to 20 minutes, say. And the 30 amp wires borrowed form my battery box should be able to cope. This meter made the measuring part of this very easy.It also has conventional auto- ranging multimeter functions, and a thermocouple for temperature readings. It measures ambient temperature, and even has a built-in torch. The display is large and easy to read, and has a backlight. The meter seems well-built without feeling high-end. The case is useful, and the standard very sharp probes have removable caps to avoid accidents and injuries. The only thing I miss are alligator clips for hands-free use. Appears accurate compared to my fluke. It seems very durable with a strong clamp, useful dial and responsive front facing feature keys. It’s a nice size, with it being suitably weighty in the hand and easy to read because of the good use of its existing space.It’s certainly useful having multiple readouts available all in one machine, while also having a built in work light and bright backlight for the LED read out.
