Review: Love this thing! Don’t wait - better pricing now than during the holidays! - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. I love that I can sear, sauté, slow cook, bake, and so much more all in one pot—no extra pans needed. It heats evenly, is incredibly easy to use, and the nonstick pot makes cleanup a breeze. The size is perfect for family meals or meal prep, and everything I’ve made has turned out great. If you’re looking for a versatile appliance that actually gets used, this one is absolutely worth it!
Review: The Cat's Pajamas - This might sound like exaggeration, but this is the easily the best appliance purchase I've ever made. Yes, it does 17,000 different things, but the three below are why it's something I can't do without: (1) It's the best crock pot I've ever owned because it's non-stick. I've re-warmed queso in it multiple times on vacation, left it on high/burned the queso, and it still just slides out of the pot. (2) Any meals (stews/chicken spaghetti/etc) that require braising/sautéing before making a "soup" inevitably dirty every pan in your kitchen. You need a pan, then a dutch oven, etc. But this thing lets you do it all in the same vessel, meaning you can make a stew with an actual 1-nonstick-pan cleanup. I own a certain fancy-french-brand dutch oven (and love it), but I frequently choose this just because of the cleanup convenience. (3) Here's the real star of the show: sous vide. (If you haven't tried sous vide, you're missing out.) But the thing about cooking sous vide is that the equipment (which I own) is bulky and in-the-way while it cooks. If you only want to do a couple of pork chops, it seems like too much hassle; but if you're cooking (eg) ribs for 12 hours (or God-forbid a 29-hour brisket), you have to deal with the equipment being on your counter for the whole cook time. But this little dog will sous-vide like a champ while in it's normal counter space. The capacity is more than you'd expect, too -- this week, I did two medium racks of ribs, and two point-cut briskets, in one cooking session each. I now use sous-vide constantly because of the convenience, and I only use my $200 sous-vide setup if I'm doing a whole brisket or cooking for a crowd. I've owned this for a year or so, and it's held up with almost daily use. But, as I told my wife: I'd rent this yearly for the sale price. It's the absolute cat's-pajamas. UPDATE: ok, so I have one small complaint—the timer won’t allow a time >12 hours. This isn’t a problem in most contexts, but it DOES mean that you have to set a reminder to “refresh” the timer in the middle of a longer cook (ie, sous-vide pulled-pork at ~19 hours). This is a small complaint, but I’d much appreciate a 24/hr timer if there’s a Gen 2.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I'm used to using crock bags to make clean up easier. Can I use those in this unit?**
A: I think the bags will fit, but you really will not need them at all. The nonstick is so good it takes no more than 1 minute, at the most, to clean this crock pot and no loss of food in a bag.

**Q: Can you make a turkey in this?**
A: Just curious for anyone who has...why wouldn't you make a turkey in it?! Trying to figure out if I can use this.

**Q: How does the sous vide work ?**
A: I have a different type of sous vide. Not sure if you’re familiar with them or not. You would put your meat in a zip loc bag and add it to the pot and cover with water and it will cook to whatever temperature you want. I cook steaks to 130° and the. Do a quick sear in butter and it’s a perfect tender medium rare. It holds the temp and doesn’t keep cooking.

**Q: How is it different from the previous model? Is it bigger?**
A: It is bigger than our previous ninja. Has a few more features too.

Best purchase I've made for easy meal prep. I love that you can do everything in one pan. Less mess and I use it to make my yogurt too. My house is cold in 5he winter and the proof function for bread works great for me. Love it!
