Review: Quality Product - I was very happy with my Otis Pistol Cleaning kit. The parts are all quality, as I would expect from this company. The cords and brushes feel durable and stood up well to about ten cleanings so far. The only thing that I had to do was go out and buy some more cleaning patches, as well as oil and cleaning fluid. The lube that they include is supposed to be used for both cleaning and lubrication, but I prefer to only use it as a lubricant and it does not include very much. I should say that it does fine for cleaning the weapon but I can't break some habits. These kits will save you from repeatedly buying the same parts from lesser companies. It has a nice selection of picks and punches and really makes cleaning easy. Its compact, so you can bring it to the range and run a swab through your gun at the end of the day in a flash. In my opinion, I think that most shooters would be happy with this purchase.

**Q: Do the brushes rotate with the rifling groves?**
A: Old question, but answering as the other responder is wrong. Do not pull these through the muzzle. Pull from chamber. Yes, they will rotate. The Otis system is the best I’ve found.

**Q: What's the point of the 12" and 20" cable for pistols?**
A: These are for specialty pistols with longer barrels, for example colt buntlines and modern handheld stockless pistols. Imaging something like the FN-15 ("stockless AR-15"), but in 9mm to .45 caliber.

**Q: Do the brushes fit a tipton rod? And do they include jags?**
A: Yes

**Q: So I have a brush for the .22, but will the cable itself fit down the bore of a .22LR?**
A: Yes - the cables with the female ends will fit.  Note, however, that .22 caliber bores are notoriously tight, so the .17 caliber  brush is recommended.

I've been very happy with this pack. It is small and compact, lightweight and durable. It is very functional and does a great job at what it is meant to do. Not a lot of storage for extra pads, but plenty to get through a few cleanings. Quality product and I will consider buying another and I would recommend it for someone looking for a quality set with bronze attachments rather than all plastic. This should last a long time with proper use & care.
