That would make sense, too, in that the Wah feature and expression pedal feature would require that to be the case as well. As far as features options, appearance, performance, ruggedness and comfort, I’m definitely glad I went this route over buying two separate full-sized Wah and Volume pedals. Much more practical. It’s size is between a small and large sized pedal — the pedal pad grip texture grabs your shoe really well like a larger pedal. Aside from that, you can tweak the Q points on two Wah voices, which is awesome. I’m not mounting it on my actual board, because I prefer the option of positing it on the floor (fits easily into my TempleAudio Duo 24 bag pocket). What type of expression pedal does it accept?** A: Standard patch cable or guitar cable 1/4” **Q: How difficult is changing the battery? And can the expression option be used without power? Ero alla ricerca di un pedale volume non troppo ingombrante e che non costasse una cifra spropositata quando mi sono imbattuto in questo pedale che oltre che essere un pedale volume è anche un wah.Debbo dire che mi ha lasciato sorpreso per la qualità in generale.Sia come pedale del volume che come wah fa egregiamente il suo dovere. Forse la corsa del pedale poteva essere un po' più lunga per permettere una modulazione più precisa, ma dopo un po' ci si abitua. Ottimi i quattro led laterali che ti danno l'informazione sul livello di volume al quale sta lavorando il pedale e buona anche la possibilità di scegliere se farlo lavorare solo come pedale volume, solo come wah oppure tenere attive le due opzioni e passare dal volume al wah tramite una pressione maggiore sulla pedale che attiva lo switch che passa da una funzione all'altra. Il wah è regolabile per avere un suono più caldo e pastoso o uno più moderno e un potenziometro che determina la quantità escursione tonale del wah. In rapporto al prezzo sono davvero soddisfatto. Al pedale possono essere collegati un accordatore o un ulteriore pedale di espressione, anche se la posizione degli spinotti non è il massimo della comodità, ma comunque si può fare. Ultima nota positiva le dimensioni. Non è grandissimo tanto da occupare uno spazio enorme, ma neanche tanto piccolo da renderne difficoltoso l'uso. Le dimensioni sono ottime per i miei gusti.
