Review: Still going strong - I have had these solar torches for seven years and they have not missed a beat. They still go on every evening and are just as bright. Have never had to replace a battery. I still love them and would recommend them. Nice accents in backyard.
Review: Best Lawn & Garden Purchase I've Made on desertcart! - I first ordered these in June of 2020. I was tired of the outdoor torches that you had to refill. They were messy and only lasted as long as the refillable fuel allowed (not to mention the cause for concern with little ones around). I saw these TomCare solar torches on desertcart and decided to try them. BEST lawn and garden purchase I EVER made BY FAR! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them and can't say enough about them. They are realistic looking, require no maintenance, and they are still as beautiful as ever 2 years later. I realize many people put their outdoor décor and furniture up for the winter, but these solar torches have been out in the elements since I first put them in our yard. They have been through hot summers and snowy winters in Kentucky and not one of them has dimmed or given out. Just be sure each torch has sufficient sun exposure to recharge each day. These still go strong even in winter months! (I've included a pic of them on a snowy evening.) When they come to you from desertcart, it only takes a matter of minutes to get them in your yard. All you have to do is snap the pole sections together for the desired height and stake them in the ground (all pieces included in purchase). If I had to make one suggestion to the company, it would be to maybe add one extra section of the pole so the buyer can have more versatility with the desired length, but what is included is sufficient. You will not be disappointed with these torches! They add so much beauty to your outdoor space during the evening. Since my first order in 2020, I have purchased 5 more torch sets and a set of the TomCare lanterns. We bought the additional sets to place in the yards of our Airbnb rentals and as perfect gifts for friends and family. (see purchase history pic) I got on desertcart today to order 2 more sets for birthday gifts to send to two very dear friends, and I am so excited to share with them the incredible lighting these will bring to their outdoor space as the sun goes down.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They look so real!
*by J***. on June 3, 2020*

These are just amazing! Friends recommended them, and we hadn't even seen them work because it was daylight. They are super easy to put together; in between the light unit at the top and the stake at the bottom, there are two pieces about a foot long, so you could just use one and have them closer to the ground if needed. Bet you could also do two tall and two short if you wanted, although they might be a little top-heavy for that. They slipped together firmly but easily with little adapter pieces. I put them together and stuck them in the ground along the sidewalk outside that first afternoon on a sunny day. That night, they were already working perfectly. At first I thought one was working and three were not, but I just had to press the on/off button on the other three, and they came right on, meaning they were recharging even in the off position. . I think they stayed on all night. They just look incredibly like a real flame. The only thing you might need to know is that if you have bright motion sensor lighting or something else near them, and you trigger that, these torches will go out. They'll come right back when the other light goes out. In other words, they need dark to work. We have some new solar rope lighting also, and when we had a cloudy, drizzly day, the rope lights came on at dusk but were soon off. Meanwhile, these torch lights were flaming away perfectly strong long after midnight.
