Review: Great product - Great, no more carrying heavy bottles of water home! Does what it says, easy to use. Bought a Brita Water filter for the tap at the same time, perfect partnership. Now have great tasting water, hassle free. Have bought a few spare Sodastream bottles too, a bit pricey but good quality. Haven't tried any of the flavourings available. Bought for sparkling water. It's possible to make the water very fizzy or not so fizzy, depending on personal taste. Looks good on my kitchen worksurface, doesn't take up too much space. Too soon to comment on how long the gas cylinder lasts.

The Terra version doesn’t need to be plugged in, so it just lives on our kitchen counter without taking up too much space or needing a power point. The fizz is decent too — you can control how fizzy you want it which is a nice touch. I usually go for two presses and it’s perfect. We mostly use it for sparkling water, but it’s saved us a fortune on fizzy drinks in general. Also feels a bit better than constantly buying plastic bottles. Only slight niggle is that you have to use the official bottles, which are fine but a bit chunky in the fridge. And the gas cylinders don’t last forever, so you do need to keep an eye out for refills or swap deals. Overall though, it’s been brilliant. If you like fizzy water or want to cut back on shop-bought drinks, it’s totally worth it. Didn’t expect to love it this much!

**Q: Gas refill in the UK ~£12.99 assuming returned deposit. For 60l, that’s ~21.65p/l, why is it dearer than bought fizzy water (as low as 12p/l) please?**
A: OR buy a boc co2 bottle that does 1000+ liters and an adapter for your soda stream and save money and the environment. 🤫😉

**Q: Had this just over a year and stopped working. Surely this should last longer than 14 months?**
A: They are advertised as having a 2 year warranty so send it back and get another out of them.

**Q: how do you refill the cannister ?**
A: If you mean the gas bottle - Sodastream do a return scheme where they will send a full bottle on receipt of an empty one, go to their website for details.

**Q: How is the taste with the tapwater?**
A: The taste is just like bottled sparkling water. I always use tap water and am pleased with the result. No more plastic bottles.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have kitchen accessory

I do love my soda stream, great taste, multiple choices of syrup the gas life is surprising long given how much I use it. It looks nice and smart in the kitchen and is small in size so perfect for smaller kitchens. Build quality wise I can’t fault it, I’ve had no technical issues with it and really like that as the canister fits into the back of it and it requires no power to use I can put it anywhere without having to worry about plugs and cables. Pro tip, fill your bottles with water and pop them in the fridge, cold water will hold more co2 than warmer water so you get that extra fizz. Perfect for the hot summer days. Gas refill wise it’s super easy, take your empty canisters to a local exchange shop pick up a new canister and you get a discounted price (normally about £10 off). Alternatively you can sign up to the soda stream subscription service and they’ll send you canisters of gas and take your old ones back.
