It makes pricing for a sale so much easier and faster. I put items in a pile, dial up the price, and let my 11 year old daughter price them all. It was easy to follow the directions on the back of the box to load in the stickers. It is a hard plastic material, I don't know if it would hold up to being tossed around and dropped.
