I could have purchased an enclosure with everything in it to make a single point ground for my ham shack, but I wanted to make my own.I liked the fact that the enclosure was $25 less than the one from a different vendor. I’m also like the fact that it’s Amphenol and made here in the USA. It’s sturdy plastic with overlapping edges on the door.It’s not as sturdy as the box made by Siecor that Bell Telephone installed 50 years ago. What is? That’s the standard I used for 5 stars for sturdiness and why I gave this box 4 stars.But this box is more adaptable to my needs.I ran it under a stream of water from my kitchen faucet for over a minute, which is far worse than it will ever endure on the side of my house under the eaves. No water got in.
