Form and function are as expected from a company with many years of experience with making great knifes.In short:Positive:- looks nice- well built- no blade play- great jimping aka traction on top- great deep-carry pocket-clipNegative:- "safety" is just superfluous- 'sharp' thumb studs- deployment very stiff (might be just my knife)Regarding deployment: this is an assisted opening knife. This just works by pushing the blade out using the thumb studs and after reaching a certain point the build-in spring should push out the blade for you. In the knife I received this is not a simple job. There is a lot of resistance and the thumb studs are very sharp and abrasive. Also the are not that big and easy to reach (and I have no big thumbs either).Off course I attributed this to the knife being new and it just needed breaking in. It did get a bit better over time, but its not my favorite in comparison to some assisted knifes from Kershaw Cryo II or Clash. Light weight, decent steel, comes with a very good edge. Some reviewers have complained about deployment, and while I agree it is a bit tricky, you can get it with a bit of practice - if you get the right angle it doesn't take too much force. If you miss the angle, it is a bit of a bear. I think that issue is worth it because of the coolness factor of the blade - the weight, looks, low ride clip and cool metal exoskeleton. This is a great EDC knife, and it locks of great. The deployment is the fastest of any assisted (or non-assisted) mechanism I have ever tried (and I have a fair collection).
