The plug on the cable is also wider.What I received says the base supply is a 5.0V 2.0A and the cable is not the NotePro 12.2 cable, it's a micro USBA.My device IS the Verizon version of the tablet and charges fine without the correct fast adapter. It took just 1 hour to completely charge my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet. My grandkids have Samsung kids tablets and it took 1 1/2 - 2 hours to charge those.I wish that the charging cables were thicker. They feel sturdy but, in my experience, thin cables have a tendency to bend and break where the cables attach to the end plugs. I will add to this review once I have had a chance to use them for a while.
