Review: cool but complicated - people are having a really difficult time using this device and its being called a scam. i just got mine a few days ago and it has be difficult to get working and im ok with tech. the main issue i have found is that there is a driver that isnt on the main store page. you need to find the driver and download it on pc. then u need to add the sd card to cam and format the drive. then u need to take the cam to the pc and drag and drop the file u downloaded (it is a rar file) and drop it folder called other or misc or program depending on what you see when u open the cam. he are some pointers to help....long press cam to power. 2 fast clicks on power will enable bluetooth, but im not sure why we need bluetooth and it maybe why its not working for many people trying. bluetooth does not connect the cam to phone. it must be connected to WIFI and that maybe disconnects you from wireless phone network. what you do is go into phones setting....find the bluetooth and turn it on, then click on the actual work bluetooth so that you can see all the available networks. you will eventually find something that starts with EP8_ click that and the password is 12345678 once your phone connects on to this network you can then connect the phone top the app. OD CAM. make sure od cam is installed on the phone before doing all these steps. if you do all of the steps correctly you will be able to change the cameras settings and you should it has great performance. i have bought this to film music festivals and will report back if its worth buying for festiefilmings
Review: Great deal great product will purchase more - Man i cant rave enough about this item im planning on getting a couple more for the the crew i was gonna go with the ray ban meta but lack of storage and 3 min record length put me off and decided to get this its so easy to use and setup and it supports continuous recording 4k recording even if it caps at 5 minutes it still records non stop in 5 min increments which makes it easy to edit has short battery life but you can attach a power bank and charge it to it while recording also your phone has to be close to it for it to work and when your phone looses connection its disconnects but easy to reconnect and you can easily swap memory i use the max 256gb and that records pretty much all day

### ⭐ Misleading “Native 4K” Claims — Specifications
*by J***S on August 22, 2026*

I bought the ORDRO EP8 partly because of its advertised 4K capability, but after checking the specifications and contacting ORDRO customer support, I found the marketing claims highly misleading. ORDRO lists the EP8 as using a 5-megapixel Sony CMOS sensor, yet UHD 4K resolution is 3840 × 2160 = 8.29 megapixels per frame. A 5MP sensor simply does not contain enough physical pixels to capture a native 8.29MP 4K image in a single frame. I contacted ORDRO directly, and their customer support told me that 4K/30fps is “without interpolation,” while 4K/60fps is interpolated. This explanation does not resolve the fundamental contradiction. If the sensor is genuinely only 5MP, then claiming that 4K/30 is non-interpolated/native 4K is technically questionable unless ORDRO can provide a clear explanation of the sensor’s actual active resolution and image-processing method. The 90° mode is also produced through distortion correction/cropping from the wider field of view, so it inevitably uses even fewer sensor pixels before being output as a 4K file. A file labeled “3840×2160” does not necessarily contain true 4K spatial detail. My main complaint is not that the camera can’t create a 4K video file—it can. The problem is that the advertised resolution, sensor specification, and customer-service explanation are internally inconsistent and may lead buyers to believe they are getting native 4K detail when the hardware specifications suggest otherwise. ORDRO should clearly disclose: * the exact Sony sensor model and native pixel array; * the actual sensor readout resolution used for 4K/30; * whether 4K/30 is spatially upscaled; * how 4K/60 is generated; * and the effective captured resolution after switching to the 90° distortion-corrected mode. Until ORDRO provides a technically credible explanation, I would treat the “native/non-interpolated 4K” claim with considerable skepticism. Buyers who care about genuine 4K image detail should verify the sensor specifications instead of relying only on the output resolution printed on the box.
