Those must be replaced every three months or so.** A: We use the XLS every day since August 2014 and the wheels are like new. No problems. **Q: How much floor space would I need to use the XLS? I'm thinking of putting it in my home office alongside my desk.** A: standing up in un used position (vertical) 22inches by 22 inches in working position (horizontal) it is 7 foot 7 inches by 19 inches. working position you need some room for the action of your arms about 6 additional inchesinches. **Q: What is the warranty? I did not see it on the description.** A: I don't know, but I had something break and called Total Gym. I received it quickly without any issues. Unless you abuse the machine there isn't much that can break. My issue was the plastic roller on the bottom of the stand. **Q: Will this damage wood flooring?** A: It might - but... The real issue is that it will slide along the floor as you use it. It slides on my tile floor so I purchased the Total Gym mats to put under the legs. You will need to purchase 2 mats - one for the legs in the front of the machine and a mat for the legs on the back of the machine. I would not use this machine without the mats to keep the machine from traveling. I think the mats will protect your floors. Little did I know how much these work-outs - even at the 2 and 3 levels - would benefit me. For years, I've suffered from back pain, especially after doing chores such as yard work. It was so bad, that I needed two days of ibuprofen to recover. Yesterday, I put in my first hard day of yard work for the season. I experienced NO pain afterwards, only moments of stiffness here and there as I worked. I can attribute that only to having strengthened my back muscles through those exercises.
