They work really well and I appreciate that they are Environmental Working Group verified, so I know they are a high quality natural option. I wanted to specifically write a review, because they are also a really solid company. I ordered these in January and when I went to open a new package this weekend (it came in a three pack), many of the pods had burst in transit. I emailed the Aspen Clean customer service about the issue and they got back to me right away (on a Saturday no less), and told me this was a known issue and that they would replace the box of pods right away. I sent them a screen shot of my Amazon order and they let me know a replacement was on its way. I felt it was worth noting this, because good customer service isn't aways a given. This company identified an issue and they are actively working to fix it, and are quickly resolving the problem for customers. That means a lot and I was very impressed. I have tried many eco-friendly ones, and I ALWAYS count packaging in my choice. I will not buy plastic bags or big plastic tubs of even the most eco-friendly product. And until recently I was happy with Seventh Generation powder, the boxed version. But in the newest batch I was using, I had increasing problems with dishes coming clean and also a residue left on dishes. I was about to get a new washer, but instead looked into alternate detergents. I am now trying two--AspenClean and Dropps. Environmental Working Group rates Aspen more highly than Dropps. I am finding so far that both work very well. Dishes feel clean, no food residue, easy to use. AspenClean is kind of pricey but I'm willing to pay more to keep noxious chemicals out of the environment.
