This adapter is meant to go on top of cameras that don't have PC sync port. It outputs a signal. It doesn't receive a signal. So yeah, if you're using it to remote trigger a flash that doesn't have a PC sync port, of course it is not going to work.After ignoring all the 1-stars, I bought it and glad I did. It feels pretty decently made.
