They are adequate, but I wish that the camera could be configured to automatically begin video recording on powerup. Also, I'd like more battery life.Postscript: "Verified purchaser" was removed because I returned the unit. I just returned two more units, purchased a few days ago from Amazon as seconds ("cosmetic damage"). One unit wrote 44 corrupted files instead of one or two large files. The other unit was insane; it would not respond to buttons and it rebooted itself continuously.I've purchased six to eight of these cameras. When they work, they work reliably. But the "lemon ratio" for this manufacturer is high.
