A: Yes its a regular blanket why wouldn’t it work for a baby?

A: It is a 50”x 60” throw size with sherpa .Smaller than a twin size blanket.

Nice blanket, but be aware that if it’s a Christmas gift the package is see through. There is no amazon packaging, just a plastic see through bag.
