We have our router in the basement, and our devices are not affected by the reduction in WiFi. No lag at all. When setting up the first TV, the WiFi coverage without the Router Guard Cover was rated as excellent on the setup screen, and the EMFs were very high. I then put the router in the Router Guard Cover to set up the second TV. The setup screen for that TV rated the WiFi as good, and the EMFs in our upstairs sleeping area were nonexistent. We are really happy with our Router Guard Cover! Review: Works as advertised - It works good. Received my RF / EMF meter and it cut the RF wifi low danger zone radiation down to about 15 inches from router. It was safe inside guard. Signal got through cage but danger did not. Slower downloads in the other room through walls but would rather be safe than faster than needed anyway. Great seal (it just stays shut, made well) if I need gaming in the far part of the home then I'll run ethernet hardwire. Only lost 20 percent speed in room where router, PC and tv are. Large size. Plenty of room for router with no extrnal antenna. I think it would hold a 6 inch antenna inside IMO ## Features - βœ… This is a Faraday cage for EMF that WiFi routers emit. - βœ… WiFi routers emit EMF all day and night. you are exposed to. - βœ… No tools or assembly needed! The Router Guard blocks about 85% to 90% of the router signal which is still enough to use your router while reducing your exposure by 85% to 90%. **Q: doesn't this reduce the quality of the wi-fi signal?** A: Yes, but routers are made to be many times more powerful than they need to be for home use to begin with, so it’s not a problem. I have measured the EMFs of my router with a meter, both in and out of the cage. The EMF levels are significantly less when my router is in the cage, yet my signals and speed are not in the least bit affected. Faraday cages are meant to reduce exposure, not completely block exposure. I turn my router off at night to further reduce exposure (and hacking opportunities, as devices left on and connected to the internet are more vulnerable). **Q: Is the seller willing to legally vouch for the efficacy of this product in a legal document? I need signed document in order for work to purchase.** A: It is a couple of 5 dollar document holders welded together. If you want to stop radiation from your WiFi router, best way is to unplug the router and throw it in the garbage. Then maybe wrap your head in tinfoil. WiFi requires EM radiation to function at all. **Q: Does this work with the eero routers & access points? They are small & square, but also have a unit that plugs directly into the outlet?** A: Hi, Yes, the Router Guard will work on the Eero system because it is a wireless device. All wireless devices use RF, radio frequency, waves to transmit their signal. The Router Guard is a Faraday cages and Faraday cages block RF waves. The Router Guard will block about 90% or so of the RF the Eeros emits but the 10% or so that gets out still allows you to use the Eeros system. You may find though that the furthest you could be from your Eeros system and still get a signal with be reduced by about 10 feet or so. I used my EMF reader both with the shield on and with it off. At both up close and at a sitting distance. If anything, it actually made the EMF stronger. Pretty sure they buy metal boxes from Staples at 99 cents and sell em here for hundreds of dollars. What a rip off. Save your money. The evidence is in the photos. Return has begun. ## Frequently Bought Together - WiFi Router Cover Guard - Shields You from EMF, Still Use Router - TriField EMF Meter Model TF2 – #1 Handheld EMF Detector for 3 Types of Electromagnetic Fields: Radio (RF), Magnetic (MF) and Electric (EF) - Measure 5G, Cell Towers, WiFi, Bluetooth, & Smart Meters - Large WiFi Router Guard Cover (Made in The US!)
