They aren’t really chewy, more a soft gummy. They’re easy to eat and the taste is actually good. There is a tiny bit of an aftertaste but it goes away once your drink some fluids. But hey, it’s a vitamin I’m eating so I’m totally fine with that. As far as the effects, they are just as effective as the pill variety and are a little easier on the stomach too. The one difference I noticed is that the gummies get absorbed much quicker than the pills normally would and kick in faster. I take them at night, so I take them right before I go to sleep to make sure I’m fully asleep while they kick in. If you are someone who has trouble taking large pills or pills in general, these are great! They’re the only chewable magnesium citrate variety I’ve ever been able to find.
