I tried many thickening shampoos, but this worked the best. Definitely thickens hair. But to be honest, after using it for a while, my hair became dull, coarse, and tangled easily (it's quite long). Went back to Pantene. Two washes later my hair was shiny and soft. Everyone's hair is different. Mine is sensitive. I used shampoos to help with hair loss. The minute I applied them my hair became a big Brillo pad. So this shampoo may not dull your hair, or make it tangle.
