After about 6 months of wearing the Oval-8, my trigger thumb pain and inflammation is gone, and I can actually function without it now. I solved that problem by wearing a small bandaid over the knuckle of my thumb (just wear a larger size Oval-8). Theorizing that my condition likely would reoccur if I just stopped using the Oval-8, I now wear the splint at the office for computer work, and at home part of the day. I remove it when I get home from work and use the hand normally during the evening. Then I use one of the tubes I create from a pretty purple athletic wrap, so my hand is quite the sight at night, with the thumb and two fingers decorated! To me it's worth it because it works so well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for trigger finger/thumb *by C***E on January 5, 2023* I used this on my trigger thumb to keep it from constantly snapping in and out. Be sure to do the exercides on line to keep your thumb/finger from ending up too stiff to use. These are so. much better than having a brace that doesn't allow any use or any bending at all. I did lose one when it came off while working and I couldn't find it, so I had to buy another one. Wish they sold in 2 packs as it is easy for them to come off and get lost. The only other down side of these is that you have to order them to try on to find the right size. Which means you have to send them back until you get the right size. But once you do it really helps. My pain is completely gone and I can now use my thumb even though it is not completely healed.
