A: This isn't an extract. It's raw crushed stryax resin harvested from the plant. Regardless, this particular batch was labelled as a product of Turkey. It's very pleasant and lasted me about six months.

A: Amber Resin is a botanical resin derived from the base of styrax benzoin tree.

**Q: Can I rub this on my skin as a perfume?**
A: AMBER SOLID PERFUME
Amber resin can be used as perfume by dabbing a small amount onto your skin or dark clothing such as jeans (as it may stain or leave a mark otherwise).  Dab or smear a small amount onto your wrists, allowing your body heat to melt the amber, then rub your wrists together until amber is no longer visible.

*Caution: some individuals may be sensitive to amber oils. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Superior product, rich, deep, almost indescribable fragrance. A small amount burns very well on the charcoal, and when mixed with a little sandalwood powder burns longer than I expected with a lovely aroma that lingers for hours without overpowering.Truly some of the finest amber resin I have used. I will buy again.
