Sturdy (I weigh close to the 300lb load limit, and I don't want to feel like the ladder is swaying when I am 8 feet in the air), has feet that don't scuff the floors, is reasonably lightweight (given the size), and has a ton of tool organization options at the top. I am very happy with this, and ordering from desertcart meant that I didn't need to figure out how to get an 8' ladder home from the hardware store. I was a bit concerned with the negative reviews reporting that people got used and/or broken ladders. From what I can tell, these are pretty much all nonsense. The ladder ships (at least mine did) with no box--just a bit of plastic wrap around the bottom and middle to hold it closed. If the ladder gets damaged in shipping (always a possibility) I have to believe that desertcart will replace it the way they do anything else. And I simply don't believe the people complaining about receiving a used ladder--yes, my ladder has a couple of scuff marks from shipping. Who cares--it's a ladder. It's a tool that lives in the garage, not an item of decor that lives in the house. I guess if it's really important to you that your ladder look as pristine when you receive it as the day it left the factory you need to go to the hardware store and choose the perfect one for you. Love all of them. **Q: Will the 5' ladder work for changing track lights on a 9' ceiling? I need the smallest possible since storage in my apt is limited.** A: The five footer is sweet. Saves space but handles the weight. Yeah, working track lights even on a 9' ceiling should work. Try to stand no higher than the second step from top. I use it on the electrical crew and the other guys have 4 footers and often want mine to give that extra height without the weight of a 6 footer. Good luck. Be safe. **Q: Where is ladder made?** A: Werner's corporate office is in Pennsylvania. They have two manufacturing locations. One in Mexico and one in Kentucky. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely excellent ladder *by A***R on 13 September 2017* This is exactly what you want in a ladder. It is light enough and not too bulky to move around and I feel secure when changing lights, etc. as the ladder is quite sturdy. It has an accessory bucket which snaps on the top step which is great for tools etc. . ## Frequently Bought Together - Werner 6204 stepladders, 4' Length, 19.92" Base Width, 7" Height, Orange, 4 Ft - Werner AC52-UB Ladder-Accessories, Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/421767043-werner-6204-4-fiberglass-step-ladder](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/421767043-werner-6204-4-fiberglass-step-ladder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
