It eats batteries. Really just not worth the hassle. Get a better sensor and save yourself the trouble (as well as the wasted batteries).For the price, it's not bad, but there are some definite caveats. Having to buy access to the RBoy repo in order to get full functionality out of this with SmartThings is shady, Monoprice should put out proper device handlers in the first place. The battery life is definitely not as good as they claim. I'm also dubious of the light metering as it seems inaccurate. However, it does work, the motion temperature and humidity sensors seem to work okay (once you shell out for the RBoy device handler anyway) so I can't justify giving it less than three stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very compact, neat little sensor, use a good device handler & you will be happy *by A***H on January 15, 2018* I like this little sensor, it is pretty nice if you use a good device handler. I use this with the Samsung smartthings v2 hub. I also use the zooz 4 in 1 handler by Kevin LaFramboise which you can find on github or in the SmartThings community. (Which is free by the way)Once you understand the handler and it’s interface on your phone/tablet it is pretty clear what is going on.I found everything that is in the handler works, but to get the best motion alerts, you should add one of the Samsung standard smart apps behind it too to notify you about motion & that rounds it out nicely.I will be getting more for other locations as I need them as it is good value for the money.Thanks Kevin for the handler you wrote for the world at large!I paid for this, so I am not giving a compensated review, my own unbiased opinion here :-) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not for use with VERA controller. (only motion function does not work) *by M***E on November 2, 2019* This is NOT currently supported by Vera (as of 11-2019) and they have no intention of supporting this. I'm giving the rating as this is identical to a few other brands (knock-off?) yet not as compatible. Also, it itself is a re-branded "Vision" device. While this may work perfectly for other hubs and even some Vera users, Vera has told me this is a fluke and likely won't after subsequent updates. It reports Temp, Humidity and light but no motion. I confirmed with 3 other buyers running Vera hubs and Vera themselves. Wish I had this warning but 2 other reviewers said it worked.
