I am running this with a Zapco DC amp bridged with a custom ported box. The bass is clear and concise, sometimes a little overpowering but manageable with a little tweaking from your head unit. I am not a young listener so my tastes in music has developed into appreciation instead of loudness but I do know and only invest in quality components. Just for the record, my personal consists of a Kenwood Excellon head unit, A Zapco DC competition amp, Rainbow Platinum line components and the RE sub.
