A: You can use this in Washington, you just can't use electronic calls or decoys for deer, turkey, or waterfowl in WA State.. just checked the regulations because I saw this question and have my eye on this product.

**Q: I'm new to hunting coyotes. how far away from where i'm hunting should i place it? i typically hunt 20-100 yds out when hunting deer.**
A: I place it 50 yds out hoping the coyote or fox comes between me and it when circling. But I hunt with a super mag shotgun.

I like this new design with the integrated retractable legs. It also still works with the screw-in peg and height extender of the previous version. What would I design differently? Install an On/Off Button Guard so that it doesn't get pushed by accident while in your backpack! I'm going to find something that will work and install it.
