After some research, I thought that a new speed controller was called for , so I got this little item and installed it. Voila! After some screw-length adjustments, the mixer is now working perfectly. If you’re at all handy, this is a great way to get your KA mixer up to (proper) speed. Be warned that you will need some instruction on exactly how to install it.
