**Q: Is the thermometer a sticker pasted to the jug?**
A: It’s built into its own little piece of metal, but I’m pretty positive it’s a sticker type situation. Works though. I’ve had mine for years

A: It’s just a pitcher with a built in temperature strip. Ideally you want the milk to be steamed to about 145 degrees. How else can you tell the proper temp. Without a gauge? It is used in conjunction with the Breville machine to steam the milk to perfection

Love this! Makes the entire process so much easier, from temp assessment to cleaning up. It's also good quality metal that rinses easy. I wish Breville would've just included it with their espresso machines, along with a knock box. I feel it's essential to their whole approach of being easy at home. Otherwise, you get a separate milk thermometer, clip it on (which kinda gets in the way), and it's another thing to wash--anyways, they should've included it in the package for a machine that's $700+
